Capitola Beach Cottage Renovation

Design and building permits have been issued and construction has started on the remodeling and additions to a Capitola Beach Cottage designed by Zachary Craycroft.

The design was challenging with the small house on a tight lot and the historic character of the existing home. And navigating the regulations of the City of Capitola Planning Department and gaining approval is always demanding. The existing home built in 1948 will receive a nearly complete remodel, with a second story addtion designed to be compatible with the existing home and neighborhood.
